Rakeback

How do I sign up for a rakeback deal?

Fist thing’s first: click on one of the deals featured on our site and create an account. You will then be able to add several rakeback deals to your account, at several of the featured poker rooms.

Are there ‘under the counter’ rakeback deals that feature good value?

There may well be such deals out there, but be extremely careful when it comes to them. Many such deals turn out to be scams. Because they’re not official deals, whoever gives you such a deal does so on the basis of an informal mutual agreement, which means neither party carries any responsibility in a setup like this whatsoever. What that means to you is that your ‘unofficial’ rakeback deal may be terminated any time without prior notice.

I already have an account with a poker room, can I earn rakeback at the same room?

Sorry to say, you probably can’t. There are poker rooms though that will convert your existing account to a rakeback one, under the right circumstances. Contact us about any such move you intend to make, and we’ll let you know what’s what.

I heard about cashback. Is that the same as rakeback?

From the player’s perspective it is. From the poker room’s perspective it’s not. Rooms that had a network-wide policy against rakeback offered cashback as an alternative in the past. Not so much anymore though.

Is it OK if I create an account at the poker room first and then contact you for rakeback?

No, it’s not OK. If you create an account at the room first, you’ll be in the above-detailed situation (the third Q&A from the top).

How do I get the money I earn through rakeback?

Most poker rooms will transfer the amount due automatically (into your real money poker account) at the end of the month or on a weekly or daily basis.
If the transfer is not automatic, we’ll transfer your money through Neteller or through a direct poker room deposit.

Prop Deals

What’s a prop player?

A prop player (or proposition player) is ‘hired’ by the poker room to provide action at the tables. A prop player needs to abide certain rules and endure certain limitations, in return however, he/she will get an extremely generous rakeback deal. Such deals often exceed 100%, in which case it obvious that the player is in fact paid to play.

Who is good prop-player material?

Prop players will often be stuck on set limits, in short handed and heads-up games and in other adverse conditions. If you can get by just fine under such circumstances, then you are prime prop material. If you cannot however, propping may not be something for you. It is also true though that most losing players become winners because of such prop deals.

Do I have to pay to sign up as a prop player?

Certainly not. You are in fact the one who’s getting paid.

What’s the worse that can happen if I fail to stay within the prop rules?

Your account shall be terminated and you’ll forfeit everything you’ve won and earned. If you do not plan on sticking to the rules, there’s no really no point in signing up in the first-place.

How come you can’t tell me which prop sites you promote before I sign up?

The reasons are extremely simple. Most people reckon prop players are an elite group. They play better, they’re tougher to beat and they suck the juice out of the game – which is of course a misconception. Therefore, some ‘regular’ players may be tempted to avoid rooms that hire prop players. Since the poker room’s goal is to attract players and not to scare them off, we can’t tell you upfront which rooms we’re promoting.
